It's shocking how this hedgehog was allowed to reach such a size in captivity. Hedgehogs should be weighed regularly whilst in care so it should never have got so far out of hand. I'm sure this is a rare case and most rehabilitation centres would have not allowed the hedgehog to reach such a size.
